HD Marine CL 4050

Stirlings HD Marine CL 2550. This Cylinder Lubricant (CL) for marine application, based on top quality mineral base oils and outstanding additives (validated by OEMs), is able to provide:

sufficient detergency to prevent piston deposit formation
sufficient basicity to neutralize acids.

Applications

This marine cylinder lubricant is a once-though lubricant used to lubricate and protect pistons, rings and liners of low-speeds 2-stroke crosshead engines. Suitable for the latest and older engine types of the Major OEMs and others. Recommended for engines operating on VLSFO (very low sulfur fuel oil, sulfur level: max 0,50%)
