First race in ETC chaotic and competetive

Matthew bettered his best time with 1.8 seconds.

The European Talent Cup is in a league of its own. Extremely competetive with riders that will undoubtedly join the best of the world in a few years. But Matthew is prepared having raced the ETC last year. He bettered his best time on the Estoril circuit from a year ago with 1.8 seconds. Still with 50 riders battling for 30 places on the grid it was quite challenging.

Qualifying got him to P20. Race 1 was super chaotic. While having lost a few places at the start a large group of riders crashed and he came in at P15 earning his first championship point.

During the second race he picked up the pace and ended with a lesser gap between the winner compared to race 1. All in all, the aim to qualify was achieved.

Next stop Valencia, our home away from home.
